Do I need UniFi networking for UniFi cameras?

No — UniFi cameras work on any standard network. The full integration and automatic VLAN isolation surface on UniFi routers, but cameras and the NVR function on any router. We handle all the network configuration.

Is there a monthly fee for UniFi Protect?

No — UniFi Protect software is completely free on any Ubiquiti NVR. Unlimited cameras, no subscription, no cloud fees. It’s one of the biggest advantages over competing systems.

How many cameras do I need?

We assess your property during a free consultation and recommend coverage without overselling. Most homes are well covered with 4–8 cameras. We map every entry point and give you an honest recommendation.

Can you integrate my POE cameras with my alarm system?

Absolutely — if you have an Alarm.com security system, we can integrate compatible cameras so your alarm triggers camera recording automatically. Or we can run both systems independently on a properly segmented network.

How long does a POE installation take?

Most residential installations take 3–6 hours depending on camera count and cable runs. Business installs vary by size. We’ll give you an accurate time estimate during your free consultation.

Do you patch holes after running cable?
