01 Camera Placement Plan

We walk the exterior and interior with you to plan every camera angle and identify the cleanest cable routes before drilling anything.

02 Run the Cable

This is the most time-variable step. Cable runs through attics, walls, or exterior, depending on your home. More cameras = more time. We never rush this step — clean runs matter.

03 Mount & Connect

Cameras mounted at the right angle, NVR or POE switch installed, all connections terminated and secured.

04 Program & Test Every Camera

Each camera is configured with resolution, motion zones, alerts, and recording settings. App set up so you can view live and recorded footage. Time varies by camera count.

How long does installation take?

Most standard residential installs are completed in under 2 hours. Larger systems with multiple cameras, smart locks, and additional sensors may take 2.5–3 hours. We give you a time estimate before scheduling so you know what to expect.

How soon can you install?

We offer next-day installation in most cases throughout Indianapolis and all surrounding suburbs. In many cases we can schedule within 24–48 hours of your quote call. We work around your schedule — including evenings and weekends.

Is there an installation fee?

Professional installation starts at $99. There are no hidden charges — the price we quote you is the price you pay. Installation cost varies depending on the system size and complexity. We give you a full transparent quote before scheduling.

Do I need to be home for the installation?

Yes — someone 18 or older needs to be present for the full install and walkthrough. We want to make sure you know exactly how your system works and have the chance to ask questions before we leave.

What if I need something adjusted after installation?

Call us. We’re local — we can come back out. Many adjustments can also be made remotely through the Alarm.com platform. You’ll have our direct number, not a 1-800 call center, so getting help is always fast.
