The monitoring features are identical on both paths. The difference: owner/business plans include free equipment with a 36-month agreement and require credit approval. Renter/flexible plans are month-to-month with no credit check, but equipment is purchased separately.
I'm a homeowner — do I have to take the 36-month plan?
No. Homeowners can choose either path. If you’d prefer month-to-month flexibility and don’t mind purchasing equipment upfront, the flexible path works perfectly for you too.
What credit score is needed for the owner plan?
We run a standard credit check. Most customers with fair to good credit qualify. Call us, and we’ll walk you through it quick, no-obligation, and we’ll tell you upfront if you qualify.
What free equipment do I actually get?
Depends on your plan: Smart Security = free keypad. Smart Automation = free keypad + smart door lock. Smart Video = free keypad + video doorbell. Smart Video Plus = all three. All owned by you from day one.
